How soon from losing plug to labour?

As the title says, how long did it take from you losing your plug Envy to going into labour? I think I lost mine this morning so am now frantically checking all possible twinges Grin
It’s daft as this is my second but I don’t remember losing it with my first!

Lost my plug at dinner time, waters broke at 10pm, had him by 8.40 in the morning!

Flipping heck! One extreme to the other there Grin I’m hoping I might be somewhere in between, @lst yours sounds frantic but equally not sure I can hold out another three weeks like you @trevthecat

Does your plug have blood in it? Usually that's the sure signs things are on there way! I lost mine with my first at around 5pm after a second sweep, DD arrived 12:14am the next morning 😊 good luck!! X

1 week for me 🙈 plug went on my due date and then waters went a week later.

It was kind of pinky but not bloody if that makes sense? Looked kind of like very heavy discharge but pink. Not what I’ve been having up till now. And I think a bit more is coming away, just been to the loo again and there was more but stringier.
Totally gross but so exciting too!

With my first I lost some plug about 12pm, waters went at 3pm and had him at 6am xXx good luck and keep us updated 😊

4ish weeks with first baby. It came out just after 37wks the majority of it in one day and few bits in he days after. I was induced at 41wks.

So when it happened again at 37wks with number 2 I thought nothing of it. My waters broke late that night and she was born at lunch time next day 😀

Same as me OP- didn't lose it with my 1st. Lost it in the morning with my 2nd and had him (v fast birth) at 10pm that evening. I was 9 days overdue tho Blush

Both my births started the same way. Felt a bit odd, went to loo, plug came away, back to bed/back to sofa... 3 hours later, felt odd, got up, waters broke... contractions started...

9 days.
First bit came out at 40w, then at 41w1d another bit of plug, and finally a massive bloody show at 41w2d with water breaking and baby born 5 hours later.

I’m hoping I’m not in it for the long run as I had a really slow labour last time

Felt a bit PMSy in the day, had some streaky blood at around 1am which I think was the plug, was in early labour all the next day, went to hospital around 11pm that night, then had him 5pm the day after x

I was already contracting for 8 hours by the time my plug went. From plug to birth was 25 hours.

I started having noticeable twinges about 9pm, got to hospital about 1am, only lost the plug while in shower (in labour ward) about 3am and DD arrived shortly after 6am.

I lost mine a few times from about mid 20 weeks but it wasn’t pink or blood tinged then. But when I started to loose it again with a pink tinge like your picture, I went into labour within the day with both pregnancies.

How many weeks are you? Have you had more of it?

I lost all of my plug at 2 AM then had my baby boy at 10.02 AM x
