Stress

Feeling so stressed recently, like I do everything cleaning wise and to get my partner to do anything properly is so hard work. He will do the kitchen but not finish it off. He will say he will do the garden (we have dogs) then leave it for 3 days until I just give up and do it. If there is something to mop (puppy training) he will use the dirty water instead of refilling the bucket with clean water? These are just some things I have mentioned.

I just dream of like one day I will go upstairs and the bed will be changed - and I won't have done it!

I've told him and told him and told him. I don't know anymore.

It is also important to note that we both work full time- in fact my partner often gets more time off work.

All you can do is lower your standards or just do it yourself. It's classic do half a job in the hopes you don't ask them to do it again.

My husband is military so works away a lot, I do everything around the house if he is away or home. It was his idea to get a dog but I do the bulk of looking after her, he occasionally walks her but wouldn't think to clean up any crap on the lawn without prompting. Our ideas of a "full bin" are completely different too. He annoys me when he rabbits on about how he always gets kids to school on time when he's home and I'm always late, forgets that I'm the one doing lunches and putting their clothes out, he'd be late if he had to do it all and motivate them too. It used to get to me when I worked as he'd be home all day and done nothing but now a sahm and just tell him he's a twat and do it myself. He does take good care of the cars which saves us a small fortune and repairs appliances so he has his uses lol. He's lucky I like things done my way anyway.
