I am a secondary school teacher and have arranged four kit days towards the end of term. Just out of curiosity, if you are a teacher, what did you do on your KIT days?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I used mine up during meetings and cpd mostly. You don't have to be in the whole day but you qualify to be paid for the whole day, so I only ever did 3ish hours max and still got paid the day rate (only 6 hours though).

On a couple of them I made resources and that was it.

I'm a teacher on mat leave and I can't be arsed with kit days 😂

I only went in for inset days, mainly so I would have some idea what was going on when I went back!

Yeh I’ve used them to eg. Write Y7 and 8 spring assessments, attend a CPD that the rest all attended, do a day of marking scripts. That sort of thing.

I mainly went in for ‘meetings’ where I basically caught up with friends!!
