hey i'm a bit of a concerned father to be, as a first time parent i'm wondering if anyone has any information or been through similar circumstances :)
My partner is 32 years old nd 26 weeks pregnant and has been informed 2 weeks ago she's border line gestational diabetes, so she has changed her diet and retained good numbers since. We've since found she's also vitamin D deficient (which apparently can go hand in hand with gestational diabetes?) my partner was told that after a certain period of time she no longer had to be as strict with her taking of vitamin D but now she has to have injections to rectify the deficiency but i worry about any harm this could of already caused?
Upon reading what vitamin D deficiency can do to your unborn child iv'e got myself a bit up a height nd was wondering if anyone on here has had similar problems and how it affected the pregnancy or baby?
