Could do with some advice! I had my 16 week midwife appointment last week and cried throughout. Am terrified of being induced again, and also dreading the horrible wait with an overdue baby. DS1 was born at 40+15 after long induction with an epidural that failed on one side and forceps. Really don’t want to give birth again so any positive second time stories after difficult first time? Smile
Midwife said I could go for elective CS but I know that’s not an easy option and am worried about recovery whilst looking after a lovely toddler.
Any tips on trying to enjoy this pregnancy? Sickness has now passed but am just not enjoying it at all, so worried all the time.

I'm currently pregnant with my second. I'm kind of the opposite in that I had a straightforward pregnancy and birth with my first and I'm really anxious I won't be so lucky the second time around.

If it's any consulation, they say subsequent births tend to come sooner. So maybe this time around, you won't go so far overdue.

Everyone I know had an awful first birth and a great second one!!
My dc1 was a 17 hour labour. Pethidine which knocked me out. They had to shake me to wake me enough to push...
Dc2 I went from fast asleep at midnight to holding a ds at 2.55 am!! And he was 9-3!!
