Spotting 7 weeks..

Hi all,

So I've had 2 previous mc and 2 dc. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant again and have lots of symptoms which is reassuring me, sore boobs, peeing loads, queasy, vivid dreams. However this morning after a bowl movement I had very light pink spotting. Only on the toilet paper and only 3 wipes and now nothing..

Please can you offer me hope that it's not always a bad sign? I will ring the EPU but wanted personal experiences.. x

Don't worry to much. Might be nothing. Just call epu and see what they say. Fingers crossed xx keep us updated

I’ve had this most days from 7 weeks and only just stopped in the last 10 days or 2. Currently 17 weeks.
Very nerve wracking time but just seems to be “one of those things”

Thank you both x EPU have booked me a scan at 11.30. So hopefully will know more and put my mind at ease.. I've had no spotting since. (Keep checking!) X

Well feeling more confused now. The scan showed the sac but to early to see the heartbeat. They said they can see something forming and have dated me about 5 and a half weeks. I am booked for another scan next weds.

The dates could be correct as my periods were very irregular.

The nurse then scared me saying to be mindful of ectopic pregnancy as that can show as fluid but what they are seeing with me looks to be larger than they would expect from that and I've had no pain.

So really in limbo until next weds 😕

Oh dear does sound confusing. But congratulations... Surly they can tell if the pregnancy is in the right place. The etopic doesn't right to me.

Yeah she wasnt the best nurse to be honest. The lady doing the scan seemed not to concerned and just said that I'll need another scan in a week to see better what's happening.

I think I'm just going to try and just put it out of my mind until next week. Got my 2 dc to keep me busy until then x thank you for listening x

Morning ladies, well todays the day for my 2nd scan at 9.20am feeling nervous! I havent had anymore spotting since and have all my symptoms still. So I am feeling more positive. I'll let you know what happens. It's more nerve wracking because my partner cant come! Xx

Just to update you, I saw my little babies heart beating away today they have estimated I'm 6 weeks.. so feeling so relieved but nervous to get to the 12 week scan xx

Hi 😊 I’m 7 weeks and had bleeding last weekend that completely scared me senseless! Turned out to be a UTI which Iv never had before but apparently they are common in pregnancy. I had an early scan the next day and saw the heartbeat so that was very reassuring, have my booking appointment and another early scan on Monday next, just want to be past the 12 weeks now! Xx

Hi all, just to update. I got more spotting at 9 weeks had another scan at 10 weeks and the baby had stopped growing after my 6 week scan.. and they confirmed mmc. Which happened a few days later.

I hope you all go on to have healthy pregnancies, thought I should just update incase anyone else was in the same boat xx

@Snoopy28x I'm so sorry to read this news. I remember reading your thread the first time around. Make sure you take some time for you to heal x

Was the spotting the second time around just as light as the first? Xx

@Yorkiemum89 thank you xx yeah I had a week or so break then started spotting again on and off. Epu shouldn't scan me on the monday. But I rang again the Friday and insisted. I sort of knew it wasnt gonna end well. It was my 3rd mc so I just knew.

My midwife said 50% of her ladies have spotting and its normal and fine. So didn't seem concerned plus I had my symptoms still. But mmc are cruel like that.. xx

@Rua90 yeah I'm doing ok now. Was very emotional for a while but I'm doing ok xx
