I am unsure if my test is positive or has en evap line. I can't post a pic cos I'm a new member. The line is pencil thin but blue. The control window has a thicker blue line in it. Thank you! Can anyone help?

Sounds positive. Did it appear within the specified time?

gracefrances · 11/05/2021 18:24

To be honest I am unsure, because I didn't put on a 3 min timer so when I did look it was blank, but checked again after some time & it was thin and blue. I have heard evap lines are usually grey. I am so confused!

If it didn't appear working the time frame is probably not positive. Sounds like an indent/evap but you should test again with a pink/red dye test

Thanks for the response! ... even if the line is blue? I was under the impression evap lines are usually grey. I'm gonna crazy cos I can't take another test until tomorrow morning!!

I'd wait more than a day to test again and hopefully that will give you a clearer idea. Good luck.

georgarina · 11/05/2021 20:00

If it's blue and you can see it without squinting sounds like a positive x

gracefrances · 11/05/2021 20:19

@georgarina so you think/know anything about evap lines? I saw this line after the 3 min window but I thought evap lines are usually grey x

Ita impossible to know. You need to test again.

Dyra · 11/05/2021 20:29

When you say you checked again after some time, how much later was it? I'm inclined to say that if the test line was blank when you looked at it the first time, it's probably an evaporation line. Only way to know for sure will be to test again in a day or so.

Every positive I've ever had, even the really faint ones, have shown up at the same time as the control, within the three minutes. I wouldn't take it as a positive unless it appeared within the time. Sounds promising, but I'd still test again to be sure if I were you.
