Faint line while on period

I got a faint line on CB test on my period day 5 today. I snapped a photo of it right after dipping the test in urine. The + sign immediately appeared while the dye is still running and processing.

Does CB test produce false positive even in suggested timeframe too? 😅

Here's another one after the dye finally settled. I dont have any reliable red dye test to retest atm.

@Horehound I felt a lil bit off yesterday, period day 4. Sudden nauseous, dizziness and sleepyhead. So I tested with cheapie and I thought I saw a veryyyyy faint line on it. I needed reassurance, thats why I ended up testing with CB in the afternoon today. 😅

They look negative to me, Clearblue sometimes come up with those lines, I think it's just the imprint of where the line would be if there was a line.

Might it be implantation bleeding? My implantation bleeding this time was like the start of a period. Definitely retest with your first urine of the day and hopefully you get the result that you wish for.

@cookiecreampie It could be it since CB is notoriously known for its evap / indent. Anyway I will retest just for confirmation when I get a red dye test. Thanks x

@Humpty11 I m not so sure hun because I started the period normally. But it was all gone in day 3 though, and just light one in day 4. I ll retest when I get a red dye from the pharmacy. Did you test positive before the ib or after?

I had implantation bleeding about 5 days before I was due to have a period and tested and it was negative, I then tested the day before my period should have been due because the bleeding (which I now know was implantation bleeding) hadn’t turned into anything more and my test was positive. Hopefully you’ll have an answer soon, I used red dye tests from Wilkos and they were accurate.

@Humpty11 lovely! 🥰🥰🥰 I do hope if this will turn out positively but it seems a bit unreal. No symptoms whatsoever though.

@beautifulinitstime fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼. I honestly had no symptoms out of the ordinary, when I fell pregnant with my son my only symptom was implantation bleeding which was more of a blood stained discharge. I had no sore boobs or anything until about 6/7 weeks and then the sickness hit too. This time I had a sharp pain which I put down to my period coming and pain in my boob which I had every period post last pregnancy and then the heavier implantation bleeding. Sore boobs and nausea didn’t start until even later than the last pregnancy so hopefully your no symptoms are a positive sign 🤞🏼. Has your bleeding stopped now? Do you know when your period should have been due?

@Humpty11 My period was due on time 😅 Thats why it feels that the CB test to come out faintly positive was a bit odd although in the timeframe.

With my 1st pregnancy (missed miscarriage at 10wks), I got a clear bfp on 10 dpo and been experiencing few symptoms like small sore breast, random nausea and slight food aversion.

Anyway I ll retest again for my peace of mind and I let you guys know the result. Yet I know its gonna be another BFN. 😂

@Humpty11 and yes, my bleeding was all gone since yesterday. So just to sum how my period like:
Day 1 - normal / heavy
Day 2 - light
Day 3 - none / spotting at the end of the day
Day 4 - light (very faint line on cheapie, could be evap)
Day 5 - none (tested faint positive on cb in timeframe)

@beautifulinitstime I’m so sorry to hear about your missed miscarriage. Everything crossed that you get your BFP but if not this month then try not to lose hope. It can all become a bit stressful when TTC but know that you’re not alone.

Hiya, so I am back with my tests this morning. And both was taken appx after 3-4 minutes.

Guess the CB the other day was just a false alarm.

Imma need everyone's wishes and baby dusts for my coming ovulation day. Hopefully I will be back on this thread with real BFP to share!
