Cooked chicken/cold chicken confusion!?

Hello everyone, I am 7 + 4 weeks with my first!
I am suffering with bad morning sickness and have found relief in plain chicken and pasta (fills me up and I don't throw it up again after eating!)

Problem is, on my usual Google trip there is a lot of conversation and different opinions on how to prepare chicken so it is safe during pregnancy...

Cooked chicken that is hot seems to be okay
Cooked chicken that has gone cold is apparently a no go
Pre-cooked cold packaged chicken is apparently a no as well
Cooked chicken that has gone cold and then been re-heated to piping hot is okay?

So confused, can someone shed some light on this?

Where are you getting this from? I’m sure on the NHS guidelines it says chicken is perfectly ok? Not seeing the issue with pre cooked package chicken or cold cooked chicken Confused

The only one that might be vaguely 'unsafe' is the re-heated cooked chicken but even still the chances of getting ill from it must be pretty tiny.

Can't see what could be wrong with cold cooked chicken Confused

Here.

Best to stick to the NHS list as different countries have other guidelines, so there’s no point in a random google really. There’s not really a lot you have to avoid.

It’s all absolutely fine

Sometimes some cold meats (ie cooked cold chicken) is frowned upon because of the chemicals used to preserve it and the very small risk of listeria but it’s honestly fine

Enjoy the chicken!

Thank you everyone. Thought I was being a bit paranoid!

Where did you read that? Stick to the nhs guidelines! If you Google literally food followed by ‘during pregnancy’ then you will find some random website on page 29 that says don’t eat it! I stick to the NHS guidelines as otherwise there’s nothing left to eat 😂 x
