Morning

I'm extremely nervous today not slept at all I have my placenta localisation scan at 12 and I'm praying it has moved else in 4 weeks I'll have to have a c section 😫 anyone got some positive stories where their placenta has moved out the way? Mine was completely covering my birth canal and caused me to have loads of bleed and loose blood clots etc. As much as I'd love to meet little man in 4 weeks I've had 2 normal deliveries and really want to avoid a c section as much as possible as I'm scared about the recovery.

@Mylasmummy2102 I had a scan at 20 weeks which showed the placenta covering, they rescanned at 26 weeks and she was 6 cM clear, I'm still having a section but for other reasons, I would of been able to have a VB with the movement that happened! I know so many people who it was covering for and then moved by 32 weeks! Good luck xx

Thank you scan showed my placenta has completely moved but they are worried because I have too much fluid now and baby is already 5lb at 32 weeks so the doctors are reviewing in and ringing me tomorrow xx

@Mylasmummy2102 what would that be an indication of? I've not heard of too much fluid? X

Mylasmummy2102 · 10/05/2021 16:17

Not really sure but I have been leaking fluid on and off for a few weeks they said waters can break early and they may induce me A little early x

Glad it’s moved. Increased fluid (polyhydramnios) and baby measure large for dates, can be associated with gestational diabetes. Did you have a glucose tolerance test? Suspect they may do that next or start a week of glucose monitoring

Yeah already had a glucose test 4 weeks ago and it came back normal so not really sure what's going on but the doctors ringing me tomorrow so hopefully get some answers then xx
