Hypnobirthing stories?

I'm trying it in this pregnancy and interested to hear if anyone else has tried it and if it helped?

I did it with dc4. I'd had previous c sections and wanted a vbac. I managed with gas and air, the breathing and meditations. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I did the Birth-ed online course. It was brilliant.

I did hypnobirthing and it helped me to relax during pregnancy in the evenings. However, during labour it just didn't work for me. My baby was in a very awkward position and the pain was just too much because of this. My husband put my hypnobirthing music on during labour and I told him in no uncertain terms to , "Turn this shit off!".
