What was your earliest symptom?

I’m not due my period for ten days but busy symptom spotting...if you had any signs before testing, what were they?

Last time I was pregnant it was sore boobs, a few days before testing!

A blinding splitting headache! Was enough to make me lie down!

I had an implantation bleed that I thought was a very light period and just felt exhausted. I could sleep for a couple of hours during the day and still sleep for a full 8 hours at night. I knew then that something wasn't right, in a good way obviously!

@Arrierttyclock oh no - did you think of it as pregnancy related at the time or just realise looking back?

@TwinklyLightsForXmas tiredness is the symptom I’m most scared of as I already have a toddler 😂 so exciting though to have a little clue that a positive result might be in its way!

Napping EVERY NIGHT and late period. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until I took the test. I’d put off taking a test because I’d been trying to symptom spot for a few months, that despite my period being a week late I’d convinced myself I was just looking for something that wasn’t there!

Never been so hungry in my entire life. Could not stop snacking. Would feel incredibly faint if i didnt eat every couple of hours.

A random cough with no other similar cold symptoms, and a pain in my left hip one day (I felt implantation on my left side, assumed there may be a link)

Sore nipples was my first sign! I was also on holiday the week before my period was due and found that I was right off vodka and couldn't drink it at all (not like me - I love vodka, especially on holiday! 😂)

Also I kept having dreams that I was pregnant or taking a positive test. I just "knew" before taking the test that it was going to come back positive!

Everyone is so different! Pregnancy symptoms blow my mind, how can all our bodies be doing the same thing and reacting so differently???

I try not to symptom spot as it just gets my hopes up but it’s hard not to when you’re paying so much attention to your body when ttc.

The vodka one made me laugh 😂

Nausea, my boobs were huge and I felt strange in myself. Still didn't test until I was 6 days late though as I just thought I was run down.

Horrendous sore boobs, the pain made me feel sick. I also remember saying to my OH when I saw him that my boobs felt full and heavy. Totally went of chocolate and milk in hot drinks tasted absolutely vile. I actually thought the hot chocolate I had in cafe Nero had gone off it tasted so disgusting. Apparently it tasted just fine. Oh and really bad fatigue too. I finished work one night and just stood in my bathroom crying because I didn't have the energy to climb into the bath for a shower. From about week 4-5 I had a heightened sense of smell too which wasn't great walking into the communal hall of my flat because other people's cooking had me heaving as soon as I left my flat. It got the stage where I had to hold my breath quickly run and unlock the outer door, take a deep breath of fresh air then hold my breath again and run back and lock my own door. Thankfully it's literally feet away but there were times I didn't make it and would have to run back inside to throw up. And not really a symptom but by 6 weeks I was bloody huge. I'd had to tell work because of my job but I couldn't have hidden it if I'd wanted to. I never get past the 1st trimester but me and my OH did joke that had I gone full term Id probably have looked as though I had an inflatable beach ball stuffed down me with 2 big melons sat on top
