Hi all!

So I've had a 6 week scan and the sonographer said all looks good and 'normal' with a strong heartbeat 💓

Obviously, amazing news but on the scan there is a small black spot to the right of the gestational sack. She said all fine it's nothing to worry about! Anyone else had this on their scan? On the notes it said no fluid etc detected in womb so am I worrying about nothing? Hmm

You're definitely worrying about nothing if she told you there's nothing to worry about.

Sonographer said good and normal, so I don't think you have any grounds to be worrying at this stage. Why did you have a scan so early, can I ask?

The trained sonographer has told you everything is fine. They know how to interpret scans. They know what they’re looking at. They have trained for years.

You don’t.

All ultrasounds look weird and have weird shapes in.

Because last week I was told I had a subchorionic hematoma therefore I went for a second opinion a week later and this time, nothing was mentioned. At my first scan last week, I was told I was likely to start bleeding so have been worrying all of last week. It was absolutely lovely to see a healthy baby I just was asking for opinions as I've had two very different scans only 1 week apart. Thanks for your advice xx

@Changethetoner I miscarried last year so wanted reassurance as I've been having pain x
