Swollen fingers - 22 weeks!

Hi everyone, first time posting a thread!!! Currently 22 weeks and over the past two days I’ve noticed my wedding ring won’t come off as easily, at times it’s completely stuck and I have to wait for the swelling to go down to take it off. (Think it’s time I retire the rings for now)....My fingers do look swollen but not noticeable to others.

My question is, isn’t it quite early to be swelling already? I’ve been monitoring my blood pressure weekly and last reading was 118/65. I’m aware that in some cases it can be a sign of preeclampsia. I’m just worried about the swelling to come! Any one else experiencing the same?

Minor swelling is common.
If you get sudden and severe swelling it's best to ring to be checked.

I've had minor hand swelling a lot this pregnancy, my rings are normally quite loose but are very snug these days. It is worse when I'm warm too. 25+5wk atm.

Yes. I had to remove my engagement and wedding right around 20 weeks. I've managed to get my wedding ring back on around 4/5months postpartum, not managed my engagement ring back yet, as it's slightly smaller.

My blood pressure did go up and up and by 38 weeks I had hypertension and was induced because of it, to prevent pre eclampsia. I will say I felt/knew my blood pressure got too high and at 36/37/38 weeks my ankles got huge that's when the concern really started.

So keep an eye on it and also relax about it? It's a confusing time.
