Cramps gone now I've hit 6 weeks

Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone has any advice about early cramping. I've had cramps since I found out I was pregnant (for about 11 days). They seem to have suddenly eased which is good but I can't help but worry that this means something has gone wrong.

Anyone who suffered with early cramping got any advice?

I'm pretty much same as you. 6 weeks 3 days and the cramping has eased. Still a tiny bit when I stand up or something but nowhere near what it's been the last few weeks.

They'll come back :) also maybe not as noticeable anymore as your body is relaxing.

This is reassuring guys!

@ApplePie86 I'm the same. If I've been stood up for ages and sit down then I get them a little bit and same the opposite way round. But they're far less frequent and seem to be in the way out.

@DizzySquirrel90 yeah I never thought about that. Maybe my body is getting used to things moving and stretching about a bit

@bages1977 mine seemed to stop around 6 weeks but they were just less noticeable I think/body got used to it. You'll probably start to notice occasional stretching weekly around 12 weeks, not as often as before, i was also worried about this. But my 12w scan was fine x

@DizzySquirrel90 Oh good, this has made me feel better. I have a private scan booked for 2 weeks today and I can't wait for that to come so I can hopefully relax a little bit!

I'm 6+2 today and my cramping seems to be changing too. I feel generally 'heavy' in the pelvis area when I'm stood up - as if there's a lot of bloating and it's pushing downwards. If I keep still when I'm sitting I'm generally free of discomfort, but occasionally get stabbing pains which can be confusing with the upper belly gas and heartburn that seems to have begun.

I seemed to have a couple of days off and now they're back 😂 spoke too soon. I start to feel quite hot and nauseous when they come now though. I get them for about 10 mins a few times a day. Hope it's normal 😕

I get occasional stabbing pain too, I'm hoping that's just things shirtfront and moving about! No heartburn yet though.

I have noticed more period like pains in my thighs though and seem to have somehow pulled a muscle in one of them even though I've not moved much for the last few days 🙈

Nice to know we're all suffering together 😂
