Has anyone had second dose of astrazeneca whilst pregnant?

I had my first astrazeneca before finding out I was pregnant (will have been 3 weeks) I have been called for my second one when I will be 13 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone has had both whilst pregnant? Midwife said it's my choice and as I've had astrazeneca for first one I can't have Pfizer for second

Thanks :)

Hiya, not quite what you’re looking for but I had my first AstraZeneca dose at 29 weeks. I’m now 36 weeks and apart from feeling pants the day after, I’ve had no side effects and baby is happy as Larry. I have my second dose scheduled for 6 days after my due date. Good luck 😊

Isn't there a trial going on of having a different one for your second, as there are reasons to think that might actually be better? You could try and Google that trial and see if you can join it.

Mind you I think the AZ is extremely likely to be fine.

I had the Astra one in early pregnancy and have asked for Pfizer for my second. My GP has to refer me to a nearby hosp to have it, which is supposedly getting done.

Yes! I had my second astrazeneca yday at 14+4. Feel fine today, no issues at all. My sister is a doctor and talked to quite a few of her obs/gynae friends for me for advice. They all advocated going for it 👍

Ps my gp said there's a clinical trial going on in Germany about mixing vaccines but theres no evidence at present around effectiveness etc.
