Possible pregnancy on coil???

So I've been on the copper coil since September, my little boy was born in July and was my 3rd and hopefully my last 🤞 so I was on my period last which which start on Tuesday and end Friday which is very short for my periods also wasn't has heavy as normal. Come round to thrusday and I started to have some light spotting which when on for 2 days, also clear discharge sorry tmi 🙈 today (Saturday) my breast are so sore, im feeling sick, dizzy and tired and generally terrible and crampy. Please can someone give me an advice about what I should do, obviously it will be to early to take a test just yet, kind of hoping someone will tell me they had this with the coil and weren't pregnant 🤞 also story's about being pregnant on it. Thank you 😊

Take a test as soon as your period is due.

I got a copper coil several years ago as we already had 3 children. It was put in September, the following August I was due to donate blood so took a test just in case, came back strong positive. I called GP's, they did an internal exam and couldn't see any strings so booked me for a scan the next day. Went to epau who did abdominal and internal scans then said "congratulations, you're having twins" no sign of the coil. The pregnancy went well and I delivered 2 big healthy girls at 38wk, they're 6 now. It was a big shock but we're very glad to have the girls and we're expecting our 6th now.

I've had similar symptoms with the coil and not been pregnant, particularly this year, shorter periods, sore boobs etc, but all fine, have had it in for two years now. Worth checking for the strings to see if you can still feel them

How have your periods been since September? I know for the first 6 months mine were all over the place and then all of a sudden completely stopped.

My first thought was pregnant! But thank god no. This was with Mirena though so might be different.

Thank you everyone, ill definitely test if my period is late. They have been very regular since I got the coil put in, pray for me 🙌 ah I'm glad your girls were healthy, im sure if it i am it will be a lovely surprise :)
