Uterine Prolapse While Pregnant

BellaBlue222 · 07/05/2021 06:31

I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant with deveined baby and have a uterine prolapse- it's at the point where my cervix protrudes from my vagina

I'm waiting for an appointment at the hospital with obs and gynae and I've also messages a private women's physio. My first question is has anyone experienced this and can share your experience? Did it right itself and if not, how was labour?

Also my second question- sorry for the tmi- last night me and my husband has sex for this first time since this happened. He was very gentle and we took it slow and while it didn't hurt, is felt very shallow like he wasn't "in" all the way if you get what I mean. He said it was fine for him but it didn't feel very good for me. Can anyone advise how we can make sex better? Thank you! X Blush

@BellaBlue222 hi, I found this through a search as I have exactly the same thing at 14 weeks.
How have you been? Did you receive any treatment?

Hi, I have the exact same thing too, I’m 8 weeks pregnant and really hope it gets better!

MovinOnUp · 16/10/2021 21:08

@Bed123
Did they tell you just to wait and see?
That's basically what I've been told.

I haven’t seen anyone about it yet, I’ve got an appointment with the midwife next week so going to speak to her about it. Who told you that? Is this your first?

MovinOnUp · 16/10/2021 22:15

No this is my third.
I ended up in the gynae ward as an emergency last week after a bout of constipation ended in a uterine prolapse and the worst case of piles the consultant had ever seen. (Sorry for tmi)
This is quite unusual though and probably down to the fact I have a connective tissue disorder.

Thought I would give you an update, I went to see the midwife and explained about the prolapse, she is going to refer me to physio so hopefully they will be able to help! How has your been? Hope you are feeling better after being in hospital.

I'm glad you are getting help. Keep me posted.
Mines seems to have retreated a fair bit and doesn't feel as heavy.

I know this is a very old thread but I’m 11 weeks and have a uterine prolapse, I’m petrified I won’t be able to carry the baby full term

ChagSameachDoreen · 01/09/2022 19:16

What is a "deveined" baby??

Bed123 · 01/09/2022 19:45

@Room4onemore
Hi, I know how you feel I felt the same but it got alot better around 14 weeks for me and it retracted right back up again as baby grew. I saw a physio who helped but mainly it is down to doing your pelvic floors, have you got the Squeezy app?
My baby is 3 months old now and perfect so try not to worry xx

Thank you for the reply, I do have the Squeezy app so I’ll make a conscious effort to do it more. So happy everything went well for you
