Had my 20 week scan today and they found mild cystic hygroma septated. Everything else normal I’ve already had an amniocentesis which was clear and baby had an echo today which was clear.
The genetic consultant said at this point they wouldn’t do any extra tests as the specialist one they only do if a number of abnormalities are seen. They said it’s a 5% chance of an unknown genetic condition that they haven’t picked up or could be 95% nothing.
After looking online - I know worst thing to do is google it’s all really scary outcomes not like what the doctors said. There doing another scan in two weeks to see if it’s gotten bigger or gone down.
Does anyone have any experience positive or negative of this health issue?
