When are you suppose to have your first scan.

Anywhere between 11-14 weeks, really known as 12 week scan but not exactly on 12 weeks

By the time I had mine I was 17 weeks and 6 days 😂 was really annoyed as the MF said she would try and get it booked as soon as possible but means only a short wait for the “20 week” scan which I’m having next week at 21 weeks 2 days

Yes my appointment was sent to me after I did my online referral to the midwives. I received a letter. Mine will be at 12+3 days

Thefaceofboe · 06/05/2021 09:47

I had mine at 12+6 but as pp has said it can be between 11 and 14 weeks. We also booked a private scan at window to the womb at 8 weeks and it was worth every penny if you’re anxious

I had mine bang on 14 weeks. I was told by midwife that 14+1 was the cut off.

Jellybum2019 · 06/05/2021 10:27

I have just received my letter and I will be 14+5, I am querying this with my midwife!

Between 11 and 14 weeks but there is a baby boom apparently because of lockdown, so a couple or my friends don't have theirs until nearing 15 weeks.
