Last few days I have had a pain at top of back of leg, think it might be pgp. I can barely walk as its so painful. I'm almost 39 weeks though is it worth getting referred to a physio at this stage? Anyone else got advice on how to reduce the pain?

You'd be wasting your time with an NHS referral so late tbh, private could be worth a try. If it's just the one leg it may be down to a compressed nerve rather than this condition. You tend to get pain in both hips and across the lower back with it.

I've had pgp/spd in my last 3 pregnancies and got it now. I've never bothered with physio. There are small changes to stride length, how I get in/out of bed/car and several other things that help. This baby likes to kick me in my hips too, little munchkin.

Yeh its just painful in one part of leg, not over lower back or anything. Just frustrating but at least its only started recently. Aww hope it's not too painful for you.
