Hi all,

I'm 22 weeks + 4 I feel movement now and again but only when I'm sitting! And then I'm like is this wind or the baby 🤣 has anyone else had this, I really want to feel him when I'm lying on my side but I just can't at the moment for some reason, could it be that he is still small and has loads of room to move around? Do you think I should contact my midwife? Thanks all ❤️

Totally normal! No need to contact the midwife Smile

@Firsttimemummy124 honestly, I kept getting told to lay on my side to feel her move! I could never feel her move when I was on my side! Only when I was sitting or laid back a little, no idea why!! I'm 32 weeks now and can feel her no matter how I am 😂 honestly don't worry about the side thing, as long as you can feel movements that are "normal for you" it's fine xxxx

I am the exact same gestation as you and I went to see midwife this morn as hadn't felt my baby move since yesterday. All was fine and she was kicking the Doppler. They explain baby is still quite small so won't have formed a pattern yet and kicks could easily be missed. I lost twins at 16 wks last year so I think I am just a bit anxious. They were lovely about it all and really reassured me
