20 week scan at 19 weeks?

Probably overthinking it but I have my anomaly scan today and I am bang on 19 weeks. I suffer from health anxiety so just questioning whether everything will be picked up or if it is too early? I've read on here sonographers prefer it to be a little later? Any words of wisdom much appreciated Grin

I don't think it matters but worse case scenario is they scan you, can't see something yet, and rebook you for another scan next week. Bonus scan!

Congrats and I hope it goes well X

This is fine, there's a window they can do it within, I think it's 18-22 weeks :)

It'll be fine. They say you can have them from 18+6 so you're within the range. You're lucky having it early, I'll be 20+3! I have health anxiety too, so I know the fear. X

I had a similar worry as mine is at 18.5 weeks. I looked up online and the nhs website says it's between 18 and 21 weeks so I'm assuming anything between those is fine.

You’ll be fine. I had mine at 19+4 and they were able to get all measurements and see everything they needed to see nice and clearly!

Good luck!

Thanks everyone! Had the scan - all was fine and was measuring 19+5 by the end so nice and clear and thankfully healthy!
