Pain waking me up

Hello, 21 weeks pregnant and struggling with sleep already. I know the recommendation from doctors is to sleep on your left side but either side is preferable to your back.
However, when I sleep on my left side I get woken up by horrible pain across the front of my bump. When I felt this the first time I just made an effort to always lie on my right side but sometimes I must roll over in my sleep and this weird pain happens. Goes away again once I've moved but I've tried googling this and can't find anything. Baby's movements are still regular the next morning and I plan to ask the midwife but has anyone else had this?

It's probably round ligament pain. I get it occasionally getting up from the sofa (recliner) or in bed. A sharp shooting pain on lower sections of my bump. If it disappears after moving, then it's probably nothing to worry about but mention it to your midwife, as you plan to!
