Missed antibiotic

I’m having major pregnancy brain and I can’t remember for the life of me if I took my 2nd antibiotic today, I took this mornings ones at 7 and meant to take the other dose at 7pm but I can’t remember if I did and now I’m worrying, do I just leave it and go again in the morning? But then there would be a 24 hour gap now instead of 12 hours, tomorrow is my last day on them anyways but then that would mean I’ve completely missed one dose and I wouldn’t have had the whole lot and would that mean the infection wouldn’t have gone then? It’s cefalexin it is, just wondering if I haven’t had this afternoons dose that it’s fine and won’t affect them working? Or affect my baby because I’ve gone 24 hours instead of 12?
Sorry just worrying myself here and obviously can’t ring anyone for advice on this now!

@Stabal no I was given 7 days worth for some reason when I’m only meant to take 5 days.

Well how many have you taken so far ? Just count that from how many you were given ?

So discount 4 tablets, as theyre the 2 days you aren't meant to take (although they usually cut the strips so you have the right number).

4 days' worth means 8 empties
Missed the dose would mean 7 empties, and one left to take

@lisaherexo you could still count them lol. You know how many there would be for 7 days so you know how many you need for 5 days.. If tomorrow is your last day you should have enough for tomorrow plus 2 days left?

It would be too late now to take them wouldn’t it? I’ve tried the counting but I think it’s just me being dull and the way they’ve put them into strips is really weird so I think it’s probably just best if I skip this one in case, I’m just wondering would it do any harm having a 24 hour gap instead of a 12 hour one?

Surely you csn see how many pills have been opened in a strip? 2 pills a day for 7 days is 14 pills total, tale 4 away as unnecessary, take off number of pills you know for definite you have taken and if you have one more than you should have at this point then just take it??

And no, there is no “harm” in a missed dose of 12 hours.
