Hair dye at 15 weeks

I’m 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and I’ve just dyed my roots using Welloxon & wella Kolsten perfect, it’s just a tint I think. But I’m worried now, does hair dying effect pregnancy? I washed it off after 10 minutes as I realised and started worrying.. I’m just hoping my baby will be okay and I’ve not done something selfish. Tia x

I’ve had my roots done, my research suggests you don’t need to worry these days. Especially after 12 weeks

I'm a hairdresser and it's perfectly fine to colour your hair during pregnancy. It won't harm your baby. The only thing we suggest is that you patch test before colouring as your hormones can cause you to have a reaction. If your patch test is ok then go ahead x

Yeah its fine, you should have taken 2 seconds to Google it before you washed it off!
