To stop breastfeeding now I'm pregnant

I've just found out I'm pregnant (early days) and I'm still breastfeeding my 10 month old twice a day morning & bedtime. He gets one bottle of formula during the day and loves it. What are people's thoughts on breastfeeding while pregnant? I feel like I should stop to give this pregnant the best possible chance to progress! Or maybe cut down to one feed? I don't want to be breastfeeding when heavily pregnant either but don't feel ready to stop immediately either. TIA xxx

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and feeding my 11month old DD probably 3 times during the night and ATM what seems constantly through the night. She started a high calorie formula few months ago and will have probably 500mls in 24hrs but that's throughout that 24hrs...she doesn't want to stop breeding.

I think I'd be happy to stop but would probably miss it. My breasts have been extremely sore the past month where breastfeeding is incredibly painful...it's starting to resolve now though.

I'd probably keep going with the 2 feeds if I were you...you may find baby naturally wears as your milk changes throughout the pregnancy.
.and if not in a few months look at reducing a fees etc.

I have ceserean in 11days time and fed my 22 month old throughout. It has been more sensitive but she is happy and there can be benefits to tandem feeding ( help with engorgement , supply etc ) and feeding up at least 2 so pleased she been able to continue ( especially as we had so many issues up to 4 months). Some babies do wean themselves in pregnancy as hormones and milk change and was prepared if that happened .
Will see how we go once little man here 🙈

You should do what feels right for you OP! But you shouldn’t feel like you need to stop. I’m currently 10 weeks and feeding my 23-moth-er. My nipples are a little more sore when feeding but it’s fairly mild. It shouldn’t affect the pregnancy x
