Hello,

I am 9+1 weeks pregnant today and sww a heartbeat at 7 weeks private scan.

there is not a crazy amount of blood, it is quite watery and a reddy/brown colour, kind of like what you would expect at the beginning of your period. I have been really sick recently so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it as I've been retching so much but I feel I'm clutching at straws.

just feel gutted tbh. have been pregnant 3 times, had a mmc the first time after bleeding, then had my little one, now this. just feel said that 2/3 pregnancies are likely ending this way. I have done everything right and just feel very low now.

have rung my hospital and are waiting for them to call back but I doubt they will be able to see me today. when I had bleeding with the first one and my daughter it was always a few days wait which is excruciating.

any experiences? just feel so meh.

I had bleeding at about 8 weeks this pregnancy- light brown, watery and only a little bit so I wasn't too worried. I called my GP and she send me to EPU where everything was found to be perfectly fine. I'm 21 weeks pregnant now with a healthy baby girl. I had to wait a couple of days for the scan. As long as it's not red you're very likely to be ok. Fingers crossed for you!

I'm glad all was well for you.

this is a really weird colour - not bright red but like beginning/end of period. like a orange/brown/ruddy sort of colour. I'm trying to stay hopeful but with past experiences its really tough.

I hope your GP will call you back shortly. Waiting is horrible. When my mum was pregnant with me she didn't find out until she was 4 months in, as she continued to have brown spotting instead of her periods... she assumed she had cancer Shock.

I hope so too, although I'm not holding out much hope it will be today. I'm reluctant to pay for a private scan now as I almost feel like I'm paying to be told bad news. however, I also dont know if I can bare to wait the whole weekend
