Hi all!

So I have been having twitchy bubbles/ pulsing sensation at the bottom of my tummy or just on my knicker line (top of pubic area)- that's where I seem to feeling this sensation, do you think that's the baby? I honestly have no idea what else it could be, I just assumed I would feel movements further up my tummy but I am a first time mum - sorry for all the questions! I'm currently 21 weeks and 5 days :)

Mine felt like butterflies and it was higher than that.

That sounds right to me. Mine feels like something gently rolling around in there. It will get stronger from here until you eventually feel proper kicks.

Thanks both! I guess it's just that it feels so low down and wasn't expecting it to be that low! It moves too from the middle, to the sides and I can feel it mostly when I'm sitting with my back straight (when I'm working 😂😂) I'm loving it though and makes me smile everytime I feel it, just as long as it is the baby

That's where mine are too!
I'm 19 weeks 2 days (5th pregnancy, 4th baby though).
I had a scan last week and mine seems to like laying on his/her tummy, so I think they are kicking down wards. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I have the same feelings at 17 weeks in the same place Smile

That’s where your uterus is so it’s usual for the movements to be in this area as the baby is in there. As the baby gets bigger the movements will migrate with it.

Sounds about right! I remember thinking it felt like tiny bubbles popping!

Congratulations 🎊

I’m 22 weeks and mine are still in that area :) baby is refusing to move higher at the moment but I guess there is plenty of time. For the first time last night I thought I could actually feel him rolling over and it was magic 😁❤️

My first kicks were lowdown like that. It also depends on where your placenta is. I have a high anterior placenta (so in the front and top of my uterus), so it made it harder to feel kicks in general, but even more so up high in my tummy until the baby was stronger.

Congrats Mama!
