Hi all! I’m 8 weeks pregnant and have nausea and heaving ALL day! I’ve been sick a couple of times and actually feel better once I’ve been sick, the nausea and heaving is worse than actually throwing up.

Has anyone else suffered with this? I’m wondering if it’s just starting to kick in and I’ll start being sick soon? Just wondered if anyone has had similar? Thanks x

Yep that was me from 5 weeks. Its eased off now at 12 weeks but I still feel sick daily with some heaving but not all day every day like before.

I keep googling whether it means boy or girl but everything says different 😂

Apparently sickness means things are working so that's good! Glad you're feeling better

I used to have to suck on mint imperials when I felt it, esp on the bus into work Sad

Mine only lasted 3 weeks, I was only sick once a day.

I’m weird and liked it though because it reassured me everything was ok 😂

I currently 6+4 and although had some spotting I have a scan on Monday at 7 weeks. However my nausea is getting worse each day it almost feels like food poisoning.

I already have 1 dc and with that pregnancy I had little to no sickness so this is all new to me and struggling to cope a bit.

Hey yes I've had this since 5w4 days and I'm almost 16 weeks 😱 the heaving / gagging is definitely worse than the nausea but my issue is I still do both so frequently sometimes I think it's safe and it's only gagging and then I end up painting my carpet 😂 hope it passes for you soon! Xx

Oh wow sounds like lots of people have the same (if not worse!)

Hope you all start to feel better soon! It's so strange isn't it how everyone's body reacts in a slightly different way but with very similar symptoms!

I read that the more you're sick the more likely you are to have a girl, but I don't know if that means actual sickness or just feeling it. Obviously will love baby whatever but would love a little girl so secretly hoping!!

Hope you've had a good weekend xx

I was like this from week 5-13. Could never tell if would be dry heave or vomit so spent a lot of time with head over bin/toilet etc 🤦🏼‍♀️ Nausea remained after that but at a manageable level. Hope you feel better soon! (I’m 34wks with a baby girl - I believe sickness is meant to be worse with a girl but not sure if just old wives tale!)
