Hello, I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby.
I've had some discomfort and twinges in my bump and just went to the toilet and had light bleeding/pink discharge.

Ive phones maternity assessment and I'm going in at half 4 which feels a long time away! Has anyone had this? I feel like it can only be bad news this far along. I know a bit of spotting is common first trimester but I'm so far past that!

I had a bit of this around 18 weeks. It was my placenta shifting about, caused a very small bleed. Freaked out massively but it was all ok. At 18 weeks it’s far, far more likely to be fine than not.

Thank you, I feel awful and can still feel an ache pressure down below. I can't stop thinking the worst
