Hi all, so I found out I am pregnant three days ago from taking several tests which were super dark. I thought at the time of my first BFP that I was only 8dpo as I have a positive opk 8 days prior. However the BFP was so dark, literally the test line was as dark as the control so I highly doubt that I was actually 8dpo at the time. The thing I can't work out is when I actually ovulated as up until my positive opk at 8dpo, I had been having negative opks. I have long cycles (like 35-50 days). I took a Clearblue digi on the day of my first BFP and it said 2-3 weeks. I am just wondering what you think? Shall I go by the Clearblue and say I am 4-5 weeks?

What was the date of the first day of your last period?

It was 19th March. But I tend to ovulate later than average

You can adjust for cycles on this, not ovulation but at least you know roughly how long your cycles are but I think I'd err on thinking you were more weeks than you are when you contact GP/midwife to start the process, it's less of a problem to be be doing things early than them ending up being a bit late.

So what I mean is put your LMP in and use the shortest cycle length you've had recently to work it out. They don't really look at ovulation dates just LMP and cycle length in total.
