Heavy bleeding like period 9 weeks

I have an early scan tomorrow, but can anyone else who has ever had heavy bleeding like period and still have a healthy pregnancy please comment

I had constant, heavy, period-like bleeding from around 5 weeks to 16 weeks with my second. They never found a reason for it and everything was fine. It was especially weird as during my previous pregnancy I had no bleeding at all. Before this happened to me I thought that any bleeding meant miscarriage, and it was quite scary but I had several scans across this period which confirmed that the baby was fine. The biggest issue was that it made me anaemic.

I hope that your scan goes well and if everything is okay it may well be that there’s a hematoma or something that is causing the bleeding.
