Hello,
Wondering if anyone could put my mind at some sort of ease. We had our 12 week scan yesterday and the baby measured 11 weeks 1 day. During the scan everything was going well scenographer was chirpy and showing us on the screen the legs etc due to being 11 weeks and baby curled up they asked to do an internal scan. On the internal scan all was well until the last 20 seconds ish where she said she isn’t quite sure but there is a possible abnormality with baby’s fire arms and hands they appear to be shorter than they should be and hands folded in. We have been asked to sit in a room and wait for a consultant to talk to us who said it could be nothing it could be an abnormality they don’t know at this stage.
Has anyone else had this?! What was the outcome?

Thankyou for reading!

Hi I've not had this but I had some other abnormalities in my 20 week, have you been referred to fetal meds? I'm sure with the 12 week scan it's very difficult to see. Fetal meds are amazing and will give you the proper answers you need. I was told I had 3 different abnormalities in my scan, then when I went to them they said there was only one and it cleared up after 2 weeks. If you're not happy or are unclear with what they have told you, ring them, ask the questions and let yourself be heard. I was treated really bad at my local hospital after the scan but fetal meds were amazing with me and I wrote as many questions down I could. I hope it all goes well with you x
