Okay so I've blocked out what the sonographer has said the gender of our baby is because I want different opinions on it, what do you think boy or girl? This is a 16 week private scan with window to the womb

Gender?

Ncfeminismboard · 28/04/2021 21:24

PinkCookie11 · 28/04/2021 21:47

I want to say boy

@Ncfeminismboard

Sex, not gender :)
Sex is a biological certainty, gender a social construct. Unfortunately always more than one of us these days Smile
PurplePansy05 · 28/04/2021 22:31

Well, it is right, you're asking about sex not gender. No need for an eye roll.

I think it's a girl.

Chelyanne · 28/04/2021 23:00

Looks like a girl to me

You go for an advertised "gender scan", I don't think advertising it as a "sex scan" would work too well. Would get some dodgy enquiries lol
Makes no odds what you call it imo

Bluey18 · 29/04/2021 10:15

Girl

jade0881 · 29/04/2021 10:53

Hi op
I would say boy... I want to book at window in the womb but they are fully booked the next week

Skymum82 · 29/04/2021 11:11

Oh my
I can't tell.
However I feel mine will be this unclear too and I will keep worrying. We are finding out Saturday (have a cannon) then can open the envelop with the scan picture!
I can't see it being clear as my scans are not that clear. I'm
Hoping at the 20 week scan they can confirm.

Skymum82 · 29/04/2021 11:12

I'm going to say boy.

BrumBoo · 29/04/2021 11:30

You can have another it's sex, not gender. Gender is a personal belief, not biology which is what you're looking for here. Then again, just by asking about it I guess you subscribe to the ideology of gender. Babies are just babies, not pink or blue dolls.

But why comment? Just scroll past, why do you lot feel the need to correct people, I wasn't asking that was I? So unless you want to comment on what I asked then keep your comment to yourself as it's invalid and unwanted. When you book the scan it's called a gender scan so that's what I put, end of

Yeah sometimes it's not worth having the early gender scans because you still don't feel like it's 100% haha! Luckily I've got another scan in a few weeks to confirm for sure, good luck to you xxx

@MUM2U2 I find it so funny how some people just go on posts to pick. Don't add any advice or any ideas just comment to pick on the post. Literally another gender post 4 posts after yours and no one went on about it! 😂. It's called a gender scan. Personnal I wouldn't care if my child wanted to be a different gender and by me knowing what gender my child is is not saying I would disown them if they decided differently. It's no we know if it's a boy or a girl. Or should that be banned too. All my other 3 were suprises and I now have imagine of the midwife saying it's a baby, and no one referring to the sex of the baby. 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Yes! Exactly what I mean, like why go out of your way to comment something like that completely unnecessary isn't it 🙄 it's the bitchiness like those comments that puts me off posting or asking for advice in general, it's so sad! If you've got nothing helpful to say then leave haha! Nice to know there's still some nice ones out there like yourself haha xxx

Thanks I had it the other day on a post too. The worse bit is how they turn it around like
You have the problem 😂🤦🏼‍♀️.

ThisMammaCat · 29/04/2021 20:45

I reckon girl. This is because I had such a scan with my third and there was NO mistaking his bits. He was very much "look at my balls!" Grin

PinkCookie11 · 29/04/2021 20:53

What is the gender?! ❤️💙

Skymum82 · 01/05/2021 12:03
