12 week scan

Just had appointment though for my 12 week scan and was wondering if we can now have our partner with us for our scan? First baby after a MMC last year so very anxious about the first scan so could really do with him being able to come with me

Each trust is different, I had mine yesterday and my partner was allowed in for the scan. You'll have to ask your hospital.

Have a look on your hospitals website or give them a phone. I was allowed my partner at mine. That was 9 months ago now.

Yes I think most trusts are allowing it now. I had growth scan the other day (overdue!) and it was the first one my husband has attended. We had to do lateral flow tests first which we had to get from a local pharmacy before hand. We did the tests in the morning and then showed them the result on our phones. So might be worth checking that!

I had mine yesterday and brought a friend along. However, I did email in advance to find out what the rules were.
