I've had Cholestasis with 2 pregnancies previously. I'm now having my last baby #3. I'm 22 weeks and been diagnosed already with ALT of 168 and AST 69. Every week my levels raise by about 50.
My consultant says she hasn't seen these high levels this early before and I've been expected not to get to 37 weeks.
I'm very itchy all over, not just hands and feet.
I'm no expert and not sure if I'm in denial, but I don't think my levels are that crazy high? I only have online research to go by, but I've seen ladies much higher. I guess the only problem is that you usually get diagnosed in the third trimester and I've still got a long way to go.
Any other Cholestasis Mums out there? Anyone had to have their babies before 37 weeks because of this?
