On January I missed my period so I went to the pharmacy and bought a pregnancy test and when I used it it came back positive so to confirm that I went to the doctor he also tested me and came back with the positive result and he said I begin the clinic so last Monday I went to the clinic and they also tested me and the result came back with the second line being faint and the nurse said she thinks am not pregnant so after that I went to the doctor to check what happening the doctor took to the scan and I told me am 16 weeks pregnant so now am really confused about what going on

If you've had a scan and they saw a baby that's 16 weeks along then yes you are pregnant. Along with three positive pregnancy tests. I don't see how you're confused about that.

If the scan showed a pregnancy then you’re pregnant.

I’m not sure why you’re questioning whether you’re pregnant. You’ve had a scan and seen your baby and they’ve confirmed you’re 16 weeks pregnant.

Test lines can start going fainter the further along you get in pregnancy when the hcg levels get so high. It’s called the hook effect.

I would completely disregard any pregnancy tests at this point and go with the scan that clearly showed you as pregnant.

If you arent pregnant then why else would your scan show a baby in your womb?

If you’ve had scan that shows a 16 week fetus then I’d say yes you are pregnant

Are you very young, or are there any are there special needs or mental health issues we should we aware of before commenting further? Otherwise, I really struggle to see how you’d have trouble understanding this.

Yes you're 16 weeks pregnant if the scan shows that.
