Hi there,

I had a scan a week ago where I thought I would be approx 7w4d... maybe 7w5d (based on a positive OPK on the 12th/13th March)

When babe was scanned it was only measuring 6w6d and HR 100. Obviously nervous about that HR they rescanned me the next day and HR was 149. However still 6w6d
Doc started me on progesterone as a precaution however has anyone measured behind and everything been ok?
I have another scan this Thursday and I’m terrified
I had a MMC at 17 weeks on New Year’s Day and was really hoping for our 🌈

Hi, I'm currently pregnant this little bean has measured behind given my estimated dates. I have been scanned twice so far, at my 12 week scan baby measured 10weeks 6days, re measured two weeks later and baby measured 13wk 1day so they've ammended my dates.
Consultant at my appointment said they don't get too worried if it's about a week variance between dates, they worry if different by 2-3weeks. Also scans a day apart are not far enough apart to track growth as there are differences in machines and operator.
My last baby measured a week behind and she's now 2!
This is my 🌈 baby too so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

It's quite common to measure behind in early pregnancy.
It can go either way on the viability front. Our twins measured 6 days behind lmp but caught up by their dating scan. Our last pregnancy also measured 6 days behind lmp but unfortunately I miscarried a week after the scan. Both were over 8wk by lmp.

I measured 2 weeks behind at an early scan. I was so sure of my dates so was convinced I would miscarry. Im currently sat with my 2 day old daughter after I went into labour on my due date.
I know it's hard but try not to worry. Sometimes we just ovulate later than we think.

Thanks guys, I’m trying to stay positive but it’s often hard to do after a loss. Hopefully I have good news to share on Thursday. Meanwhile this progesterone is making me feel urghhhhhh!!!
