Does anyone know if SMP is taxed?

no.......... but not sure about the 1st 6 weeks you get at 90%

The first 6 weeks at 90% is taxed

Really worried about how i'm going to manage on maternity pay!

its a nightmare and the beniufits peole do nothing to help think this time i am going to be ok as i have tax credits comin in does anyone know if u get less family tax credits when ur on maternity leave ..

it's all taxed - I currently pay about £1.50 NI and Tax out of my SMP.....

Like QueenofQuotes says all maternity pay is taxed.
