Brown spotting 8 weeks pregnant

Hi,this is my first pregnancy so everything is very new. Iv been getting brown discharge whenever I wipe today, no pain though. Has this happened anyone else, I'm a bit concerned, thanks x

Yep! Happened to me at the same time mark as you! It’s old blood and likely to be implantation.
Completely normal, just worry if red and fills a pad!

I always thought implatation happened weeks earlier round time of missed period. It is such a worry. Thank you for your reply

It does but most cases the blood comes away weeks later which is why it’s brown as it’s old

It's hard to know what's going on without a scan. I had spotting and it turns out it was a missed miscarriage - other people have spotting and everything is fine. Can you speak to your early pregnancy unit or get a private scan if you're concerned?

Unfortunately I had a miscarriage, but since then I got pregnant again and have a 7 month old daughter now x
