Am I pregnant?

Hi guys, this is my first post!

I’m currently 11 days late for my period, 41 days since my last period.

My cycle is normally like clockwork, with regular periods for the last year since stopping my contraceptive pill which I took for approx 10 years.

My partner and I aren’t actively trying, but haven’t been careful with no contraception with the mantra that if it happens we’d be over the moon, we just haven’t timed any sexual intercourses.

All tests have come back negative, with a blood hcg test negative when I was 7 days late.

My GP aren’t willing to look into this until I haven’t had a period for more than 3-6 months.

I haven’t had any recent changes or stress, and to my knowledge no other medical issues that can contribute to this.

All I’m looking for is just advice and experience for those who have been through this.

What should I do?

It seems unlikely but not impossible. Wait a week and take another test?

TTC can mess with normally regular cycles.

Thank you for your reply, can I ask how trying to conceive could affect your cycle?

Because it stresses you out (even if you don’t feel it) which can impact on your cycles.

I understand, however I haven’t been TTC. We’ve just had unprotected sex for the last year. I’ve only thought about any of this since being late.
