Help please!! Bashed baby bump!

Hi guys. I’m 21 weeks stm with big bump. Partner was carrying (attempting) a big arm chair past me when it slipped (I was stood) and a big corner of it bashed straight into top right hand side of bump. It’s sore but no major redness or bruising. I’m sure baby will be fine as she would usually still be sat around belly button level. I just really wanted some reassurance. Of course if I get bleeding or bruising then I will call modwife team. I’ve already been up there for check up this morning (major waiting times at mo) so only just got home so I do t want to go up there and waste their time if I feel fine in myself. I’m sure they would say if feel fine then don’t worry?

Your baby is cushioned with muscle, fat and amniotic fluid so while I’d say definitely get it checked, it’s very likely all is well

As pp I would still want checked.
If she still moving around?

Call triage to tell them what happened and see what they suggest.

My very heavy toddler literally jumped on my bump the other day (very painful!) so I went in and all was fine. It's amazing how cushioned they are.

I would get checked out. Don’t downplay it, though, or you won’t get seen.

Yes get checked out even if its just contacting your midwife.

Thank you for your advice everyone. I did call maternity coordinater as my mid wife was not on shift. They said to go up. Checked on baby and all is well. They said baby is well protected in there. So relieved. Thank you all
