Cramps everyday in early pregnancy

Hi All
I’ve recently found about I’m pregnant with my second. If my dates are correct I’m 4.5 weeks pregnant, due roughly 29th or 30th December.
Everyday since I found out last week I’ve been getting cramps, not severe just mild but seems like I feel them more when I sit or lie down. Today I’ve woke up and my Lower back hurts too - are these normal early pregnancy symptoms/has anyone had this and everything been ok? I never had this with my first and just a bit worried about it all. X

My cramps haven't gone away either - I'm 5+1 today and I still get dull aches and shooting pains like I do when I'm on my period. My other symptoms are being absolutely exhausted - I have to get everything done that I need to before 2pm because after that I'm spent! I also feel quite dizzy, headaches, and the nausea has kicked in today. I thought this was a bit early too, but I'm definitely not imagining it!

@bages1977 I have felt a lot of cramping today and my boobs are definitely less sore I feel like today I'm slightly detached from it I nearly took a test but I decided not to I'm just going to wait and see what Friday brings how are you feeling? Xx

@Pompom2367 my cramps are still quite frequent and daily. I think it might have something to do with me needing the toilet as they seem to be relieved once I've been. Still hoping for the best and trying to just get on with it. No bleeding atm so just focussing on that.

Yeah I'm just taking it one week at a time and trying not to panic about anything atm. Hoping it's all just normal

Of days before you and I feel rotten! Nausea, tired and super grumpy lol

@Pompom2367 I had a really rough day on Sunday and Monday with cramps. They were just coming and going all day but seemed to ease when I went to the toilet. I went for a UTI test as I thought it could be that but it came back negative.

The cramps seem to have eased today and I've only had them twice lasting about 10 mins. I just get worried because I had these cramps before my last mc. They eased then and a few days later I started bleeding. Think I just need to try and stop worrying but it's easier said than done! 🙈

I had slight cramps... almost mike a stitch and an ever so slightly sick feeling for three months. And the four months of feeling lovely. And then three months of just being massive and fed up. I was pregnant for 10 or 11 months, maybe more. She refused to come out.

I’m 6 weeks pregnant (baby number 1). I’ve previously suffered a miscarriage.

I’ve been having cramping (which feels like period pain) since I found out I was pregnant. I’ve also been having lower back pain too. Both are unpleasant and quite difficult to power through and ignore. I’ve found my cramping is worse in the morning and around 9/10pm in the evening.

Like you, I’m anxious that it might be something bad. But I have found it reassuring that others are experiencing the same symptoms.

Lots of people ask questions on there and respond to each other and I’ve found it really helpful as I’m trying to keep my pregnancy a secret until my 12 week scan.

@islysmum still having some pains but they are just dull aches and only happen at night or first thing in the morning which is so strange!! I’m stuck down with a cold from ds1 so I feel so rubbish at the moment! We booked an early scan for 15th May, looking forward to that!!

@TTC94 thank you! Congratulations to you too! I’m finding my pains are exactly the same as you, morning and late at night. Deffo, sometimes you feel like you are the only one and something is def going wrong but you when realise other people are getting some dull cramps it makes you feel a bit better. Morning everyone. My sore breasts/cramps have disappeared over the last two days but my nausea and fatigue is horrendous, I feel like I’ve got flu or something. Little bit of brown discharge this morning which has me worrying, especially as sore boobs and cramps have gone.

@bages1977 I'm glad they are starting to ease

I have my early scan tomorrow and I'm terrified trying to stay calm just need to know either way how things are

Hi @Asthenia how are you getting on today? My fatigue and nausea are also ramping up. Mine started in he afternoons and evening but I'm now nauseous and dizzy from tiredness for most of the day. Did your spotting stop?

My cramping has become quite varied. Up until now it has been quite low down in the area I'd usually have period pains. But today and yesterday I've had shooting pains from hip to hip, across my belly button. It might be trapped wind, as I've noticed my stomach and bowels have been a bit delicate, but worrying all the same.

Just a quick one, are you all still getting cramps? I think I had them for about 11 days and this last day and a half they seem to have stopped. Which is good but it's also now panicking me 🙈 Just wondering if all of your cramps have settled?

@bages1977 I think my cramps seemed to have stopped in the last few days too.

Hi I had my early scan last week baby had a heart beat and everything was fine so far so fingers crossed they switched me of pregnacare vitamins onto the NHS ones and they seem to have settled my cramping a bit they advised they see it a lot with those vitamins still will be anxious due to previous loss until I have my 12 week scan x

That's interesting about pregnacare as that is what I have been taking too. I forgot to take mine with my lunch today and have not had any cramps so far. I'll take it with my tea and see what happens.

How are we all doing? I’m 7 weeks today .. have a early reassurance scan next week 😊

I'm doing ok, I had a scan last Wednesday when I should have been 6w 3d because I was having a lot of right side pain but she said I'm not as far as that and could only see the gestational sac and yolk sac but it was all in the right place. Then I had to go for another scan on Saturday because I was having a bit of brown discharge. They said I was about 5w 6d and everything had grown a bit but still too early for a fetal pole and heartbeat.

Going back for a rescan on Sunday and got everything crossed that we can see something this time!

@Nat171 I’m 7 weeks 6 days and I had an early scan at 7 weeks 1 day - they found the heartbeat and I was told everything looks okay. Not that it’s easy my anxiety! Well it maybe has slightly.

I still haven’t had a date for my booking in appointment or 12 week scan. I hope it’s soon.

I rang and registered with the midwifes at my local hospital and got the 8 weeks appointment through the post couple of days later. Have you contacted the midwifes?

Feeling okay, sickness is coming in waves so will feel okay one minute and the next have my head down the toilet with no warning. Have much stronger symptoms this time so hopefully this is a good sign 🥰 I’ll take sickness all day if it’s positive 🤣

How is everyone doing? I had an early scan on Saturday and everything was good - we saw baby’s heartbeat 🥰
She also saw a cyst on my ovary which is more than likely causing my pain. I thought I was about 7 + 2 but she said I was only 6 + 5. I was worried but she said it’s normal not to be as far as long as you think because I was basing it off my LMP.
My symptoms are so bizarre though! I can go a few days feeling great with no symptoms then a day/few days feeling horrific. Anyone else’s symptoms coming and going?

Doing OK had my booking appointment and then my 12 week scan appointment like ttcmummy94 my symptoms come and go which makes me nervous think until I have my 12 week I will struggle to believe its going to be OK and something isn't going to go wrong x

I also had the dates wrong and was told thats common I was out but just under a week

I'm a bit confused about the calculating of dates. Would yours be a bit out from what you thought because you ovulated on a different day? I'm just counting from my LMP, and OPKs told me I ovulated 11 days after that, which is a bit earlier than for an average 28 day cycle (mine are 24 days) will that make a difference?
