Cramps everyday in early pregnancy

Hi All
I’ve recently found about I’m pregnant with my second. If my dates are correct I’m 4.5 weeks pregnant, due roughly 29th or 30th December.
Everyday since I found out last week I’ve been getting cramps, not severe just mild but seems like I feel them more when I sit or lie down. Today I’ve woke up and my Lower back hurts too - are these normal early pregnancy symptoms/has anyone had this and everything been ok? I never had this with my first and just a bit worried about it all. X

I had horrendous, waking me up in the night, cramps for about 3 weeks from just before BFP (thought AF was arriving). So 4w-7w.

Is anyone else’s symptoms coming and going on a daily basis? Yesterday I had sore boobs, felt so tired all day and quite sick but today I don’t have any of it and feel absolutely fine.

@TTCMumma94x my symptoms seem to come and go. Mainly the cramps, one day I feel fine and the next I'll have a few cramps throughout. My boobs also feel quite tender one day and the next, not half as bad. All over the place really 😂

@bages1977 at least I’m not the only one who feels all over the place with symptoms. I’m only 5+1 so I know it’s still early for symptoms to show but you still get worried when they come and go/don’t have much! Pregnancy is just full of anxiety 🥴🙈

@jade0881 I was having pretty bad cramping but fingers crossed it seems to have settled how are you feeling?

@Pompom2367 aww bless you.. I'm feeling ok today I haven't had the cramps. When I lay on my back that's when I feel some pain on my lower back x

Yes! Monday I felt sick and sore boobs, okay Tuesday, yesterday sore head then today sick again 😅

I'm 4+5 with my first pregnancy and my symptoms come and go too. With the cramping, it tends to be when I have a full bladder / stomach, so I can only assume that everything is jostling for space next to a sensitive uterus which is stretching and preparing. I'm very nervous about anything and everything that could go wrong, it's such an anxious time!

@TTCat39 I've found that the cramping is when I need the loo too. Maybe the uterus is a bit sensitive atm like you said.

Got my appointments for 12 week scan through via email but I've not even spoken to a midwife yet. Think they've forgotten to call me to organise a booking appointment 😂

I've also got a telephone appointment for a couple of weeks after the 12 week scan too. Anyone know what this would be for?

Just trying to not get ahead of myself thinking about getting to 12 weeks already!

Congratulations.... did you have to do a self referral for a booking appointment?
That's what I had to do. My booking appointment is on 4/6 then my 12 week scan is on 25/6( although I'll be past 12 weeks)..
I have reassurance scan on 11/5 so I can find out what is happening x all the best x

@jade0881 well o spoke to the GP a couple of days ago because I have to have blood thinning injections and they said they would refer me to the local midwife but I've not heard anything from them yet. Just weird that I've got my scan when I haven't even mentioned to the GP or a midwife how many weeks I am. I'll chase it up if I don't hear anything in a week.

How many weeks will you be when you go for the reassurance scan? I'm thinking maybe 8 weeks (if I can wait that long).

To be honest I'm not so sure how far i will b because I have irregular periods. So I'm not so clear on the exact dates. However I've gone from when I conceived as that's what doctors asked so I should be 11 weeks by then. But I feel like I'm further along then that. X

@jade0881 at least the reassurance scan will give you a more accurate date. Maybe you have a lot of bloating. I've found that my trousers are a lot tighter recently from that.

Oh you'll be way past 12 weeks by 25 June won't you? Can't they get you in earlier?

Hi everyone, I’ve felt exactly the same , baby due 31st December , cramps and lower back ache not excruciating but I know it’s there , I thought maybe it’s because I’m sitting at my computer all day literally not moving because mine eases at night, it’s so worrying . Feeling sick and tired don’t help either , you think once you get pregnant your worries are over when in reality they are just beginning. I called my drs and the nosey bitch on reception said I couldn’t have an appointment for 2 weeks because it’s too early to see a dr . I spoke to my neighbour who is a midwife and she said it’s perfectly normal to feel light cramps and lower backache if it becomes sharp pains or unbearable then go to the hospital. You just don’t know what to do so you . We literally have no control

Quick question for you all. I'm about 4 week and 5 days now and I feel like the cramps are not going away. In fact I feel like I've started getting this weird dull ache around the front of my pelvic bone. I don't know how to describe it without being crude but it's like bone aching behind the clitoris/vulva 🙈 I'm also having waves of nausea with this as well. Anyone know what pain I mean or had it themselves?

I had that Hun. But they have stopped now. As long as you have no bleeding you should be fine

@bages1977 I had that too hunni about the same time my cramping has got less and usually only for a few hours a day

@Pompom2367 my cramping was awful yesterday and bad again this morning but it seems to have eased off a bit now. I feel like my boob tenderness has reduced slightly and now I'm panicked 🙈

For all you guys who had cramping throughout last week? Has that eased off now? And did it seem to get a bit worse before it got better?

I’m 5+5 and have had cramps since the day I found out - they’re always worse at night when I’m lying down. Sometimes I get quite a big wave of them that I need to breathe through but most of the day I’m fine. Sore boobs seem to come and go over the past week or so. Started feeling nauseous yesterday but it seems a bit early? My most consistent symptom has been cramps. First pregnancy so not sure what to expect.
Worried about miscarriage though, so many people on here seem to have experienced it

@Asthenia I know, you just never stop worrying so you. I think I'm worse because I've previously had a MC.

I think nausea is completely normal at this stage though so I wouldn't worry about it! I just want these next few weeks to go quickly and I'll feel better
