Heavy bleed at 10 weeks

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, I'm out of my mind with worry.
I'm 10.5 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I had a scan 1 week ago, baby was measuring perfectly and heartbeat seen.
Yesterday out of the blue, I had a massive heavy bleed, soaking through underwear and leggings. I was advised to go to a&e and soaked through another pad whilst waiting to be seen. Whilst being examined I had another, darker bleed.
I've been here overnight and waiting to be seen and scanned at some point today, very little bleeding in the night (just a couple of spots and blood when wiping).
I'm having no cramps but of course, fearing the worst.
Has anyone been through something similar and baby was ok?
Thanks im advance.

I had this at 11 weeks 6 days. Child is 21 now. It was a scary pregnancy but he was 12 days late in the end.

Hey yes. I’ve had this four times. I have a subchronic hematoma and was shocked when they found a baby alive and we’ll after it first happened. I’m now 19 weeks and have been bleeding off and on since week 10. Sending you positive thoughts OP.

I had very heavy bleeding at 9+6 and now I'm 17 weeks. Had two scans since then and all has been well, they never found a cause just said it was 'one of those things'

I had this at 10 weeks and it was a subchronic haematoma. They wernt concerned at all said it was common and all was fine.

I also had this with SCHs. I had one in both pregnancies. With my second I had a big bleed while on holiday. Baby is now 2.

I had no pain with the bleeds which I think is the key thing

I can't tell you how reassuring these tales are to hear, thank you. I've got more hope now that it might not be worst case scenario x

I could of written this myself. I should be 11 weeks and last night while sitting on the sofa I felt a huge gush. I thought I’d wet myself but when I checked it was blood. It soaked my underwear and pjs. I went to a&e they checked my cervix said it was closed and booked me in for a scan on Tuesday. I’ve booked a private scan for today at 1pm. The bleeding has stopped and not it’s just a very light brown when I wipe. I’m praying it’s not another miscarriage (I’ve had 4 previously) this is the furthest I’ve ever got. Have you had your scan yet OP? I’ve got everything crossed for us both x

I had this at 12 weeks and 6 days. It was terrifying! Also passed a humongous giant item which I presume was a large clot directly into the toilet but at the time I feared it was me miscarrying.

My darling girl is 14 months now. Wishing you all the best Thanks

Unfortunately it wasn't good news for me. No heartbeat, they think it happened a few days after the successful 9 week scan. Really hope its better news for you Soph30 x
