Hello, I’m just over 21 weeks pregnant and this week I’ve started to feel like ‘bubbles popping’ and the feeling of when you go over a hill in the car fast! I haven’t felt them from the outside yet but it’s all going on in the inside the last couple of days haha, the only thing is that I can feel it all low in my stomach like below my belly button just above my knicker line if that makes sense. Shouldn’t my uterus be up and level with my belly button now and should I be feeling the movements there? But it’s all low, my BMI is 36 and my placenta is anterior and she’s also my first baby, so I’m just wondering! Where did you guys feel the baby move for the first time? Thanks!

Hi op
Congratulations...
it's so lovely being pregnant. I've not long found out I'm expecting my 3rd baby. Still on 1st trimester... however with my other 2 pregnancies I felt the same as you did so I wouldn't worry about it..
soon enough you will be feeling the kicks... awww bless you... I hope all goes well. So your having a girl x

I’m 24 weeks. I used to feel odd feelings but was never sure if it was actually him or not then at 19 weeks he started kicking really strong and I got my partner to feel it too. That was the first time I was sure he had kicked but I’m guessing before that he did too! The kicks stayed really strong then last week I was panicking because I couldn’t feel him move much at all. He seems to have totally changed position and his kicks used to be at the left hand side and are now in the middle but it almost feels like he’s further away from the surface of my skin now because you can’t see my belly move when he does it 🙈 So basically I think they just change positions and it moves from high to low and side to side

I’ve just started getting the bubbling and popping feeling you mentioned in the exact place you described a few days ago. I have my 20 week scan on weds so hopefully they can tell me more about positioning then!

Woo hoo congratulations! I started to feel mine last week at 19 weeks, felt like little flutters and thuds. I also have an anterior placenta, don't feel movements every day. As you will see on 20 week scan, babies position changes constantly, doing somersaults etc. He/she will be deep in your uterus in the pelvis x

Congratulations @Taytay90! I have a high bmi and and anterior placenta too and I felt the first movements and ‘bubbly’ sensations exactly as you describe - low down. Now they are all over as I’m 36 weeks and a couple of times baby has jammed their foot under my ribs! I still get the bubbly sensations though that feel tickly inside! It’s the best feeling!
