I'm loosing my mind!! I can't see how the dates add up and would really appreciate someone giving me their thoughts!

I have a regular 28/30 day cycle and day of last period was 12/03.

I use opks which have always peaked late at around day 20/21. This time they peaked on the 31/03 at day 20. I assumed I had a short luteal phase.

I tested positive using a digital test which said 2-3(4-5) weeks on the 14/04.

After having some spotting I went for a scan and blood test on the 16/04 which can back 800 hcg and nothing visual on ultrasound.

I went back for more bloods on 18/04 which came back 2000 hcg.

I then had another ultrasound on the 22/04 which showed gestational sac 7mm but empty. Blood test results came back 14,000 hcg.

The doctors have said it's likely not viable as they would expect to see more on the scan with readings that high indicating I'm 6+ weeks. But looking at my ovulation date I would be a week less at 5+.

I'm prepared for the worst and I'm not looking at trying to find how it could possibly be viable but I am so confused about how my levels could be so high if the opks were correct? Also if they are not correct then is it possible to ovulate a week before your peak?? Any thoughts would be so appreciated

I'm sorry, I have nothing to offer here as haven't experienced this but just wanted to say I'm so sorry that you are going through this, it must be awful. Best of luck to you and I have everything crossed that you have a positive outcome.
