Lightening crotch pains

So I've been having regular sharp pains which I've looked up it's says they are lightening crotch pains and I've been feeling ridiculously heavy and going toilet every 30 mins the last few days. I'm only 30 weeks so I'm not suggesting anything but it says that they get more regular when your getting closer to Labour is 30 weeks to early to get these pains? Anyone else suffering with them they literally take my breath away I even shouted with the last one. Just looking for advice as I didn't have them with my other 2 pregnancies x

Argh not necessarily a sign of labour soon. I've been having them since about 30 weeks too and am 35 now. Didn't have this at all in my first pregnancy. Think it's the stretching and moving around of ligaments and bones and stuff

Ohh ok just read it a lot on Google was just curious. Thanks

I had them from about 16 weeks last time.
They were awful

The first time was while I was driving and I thought I was going to have to pull over.

Didn’t result in any sort of early labour though.

I think it’s something to do with the uterus pulling your cervix up as it expands?
So happens with every growth spurt as the uterus has to expand a bit more

@Mylasmummy2102 I've had them since about 30 weeks, the first time I did I almost collapsed from the pain as it lasted about a minute.
I get them daily (now 35 weeks) but I know from growth scans baby has been head down since 30 weeks as well so putting it down to that :)
