ELCS tomorrow! What essentials do I need to know?

I'm booked in for an ELCS tomorrow, second baby, first c section.

I've read the NHS website, read my local trusts website and know the basics. But what else do I need to know? What didn't you know that you wish you did? I haven't written a birth plan, do I need to? Any final words of wisdom?

Make sure you have a dressing gown belt or similar tied to the headboard or foot of your bed for when you get home

When you need to sit up or roll over, use the strap to pull yourself up with your arms, which will stop you straining your stomach muscles while they recover
